Medicaid & MAS Transportation in NYC
AMP Transports provides non-emergency medical transportation for eligible New York Medicaid members when transportation is properly authorized and assigned through the applicable Medicaid transportation process.
Eligible members may request AMP Transports as their preferred transportation provider through MAS, subject to authorization, assignment, scheduling and program requirements.

Transportation Must Be Properly Authorized and Assigned
Medicaid non-emergency medical transportation is subject to eligibility and program requirements. AMP cannot guarantee coverage, authorization or assignment for any trip.
Obtain Authorization
The trip must be scheduled and authorized through the appropriate Medicaid transportation process when required.
Request AMP
Eligible members may request AMP Transports as their preferred transportation provider, subject to assignment and availability.
Provide Trip Details
Accurate appointment, pickup, destination and mobility information supports proper trip coordination.
Recurring Trips
Recurring medical transportation may require specific scheduling or authorization steps under the applicable program.
Mobility Needs
Passengers should provide accurate ambulatory or wheelchair-related information when transportation is arranged.
Important
AMP Does Not Determine Medicaid Eligibility or Coverage
AMP Transports provides transportation after the appropriate authorization and assignment requirements are satisfied. Medicaid eligibility, covered transportation, authorization and trip assignment are determined by the applicable Medicaid transportation program and its administrators.
Please note: Requesting AMP as a preferred transportation provider does not guarantee that AMP will be assigned to a particular trip. All transportation remains subject to applicable program rules, authorization, scheduling and assignment.
